Objective
To construct a kinetic sculpture using interwoven craft sticks, demonstrating principles of tension and energy release.
Scientific interpretation
This project illustrates potential energy stored through the configuration of craft sticks under tension. When the sticks are woven together and then released, the stored energy is rapidly converted into kinetic energy, causing the sticks to spring apart explosively.
