Objective
The objective of this project is to build a strong and stable bridge using only a single sheet of A4 paper. This challenge will help students understand the principles of engineering, structural integrity, and the importance of design in building strong structures.
Scientific Interpretation
In this project, you will explore how different shapes and folds can make a paper bridge stronger. A flat sheet of paper is weak and can easily bend, but when you fold or roll the paper, it becomes much stronger and can support more weight. This is because the folds and shapes help distribute the weight more evenly, increasing the paper’s structural integrity. Engineers use similar principles when designing real bridges and buildings.
