Paper Airplanes

Objective

The objective of this project is to explore the principles of aerodynamics by designing and flying paper airplanes. Students will learn how different designs affect the flight distance and stability of the airplanes. This project encourages experimentation, observation, and understanding of basic physics concepts.

Scientific interpretation

In this project, students will learn about aerodynamics, the study of how air interacts with moving objects. Paper airplanes are a simple way to demonstrate how different shapes and designs can affect flight. Factors such as the shape of the wings, the weight distribution, and the angle at which the airplane is thrown all play a role in determining how far and how well the airplane flies. By experimenting with different designs, students will gain an understanding of how these factors influence flight.
